Desirable signed bank check, 6" x 2.75", drawn on the Reagans' Wells Fargo Private Banking account, made payable to Mike Abrams Inc. for $30.00, July 7, 1995. The check is filled out in Nancy Reagan's hand and then signed by Ronald Reagan on the payor's line in blue ink ("9"). Upon revealing to the public that he had Alzheimer's disease in November of 1994, Reagan essentially disappeared from the public eye and ceased from appearing at any public functions. Reagan's only public appearances beyond 1994 were for doctor's appointments, hence the purpose of the check (Adams was Reagan's physical therapist). Thus this check--penned 8 months after his announcement--represents one of the final known examples of Reagan's coveted penmanship! Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
