8" x 10" Vintage B&W Photo of Miller Huggins and Connie Mack taken on 9/9/1928. There was outlining around the subjects heads, best notice from the back of the photo but otherwise in fine condition.
Miller Huggins, Manager of the NY Yankees, greets Connie Mack, veteran pilot of the Philadelphia Athletics before the doubleheader at Yankee Stadium on 9-9-1928. When the New Yorkers gave the pennant hopes ofd the Quaker City team a severe set-back by trouncing them twice before 85,000 fans, baseballs largest crowd.
