Rare Autograph Letter Signed "Gerald R. Ford,” one page, on a 6.25" x 8.5" piece of stationery with the presidential seal and the president’s name embossed at the top. Dated July 16th and mailed from Rancho Mirage in California, the letter is written to Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Osborne and Breezy, and reads, in full: “Betty and I am most grateful for your thoughtfulness on my birthday and our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The flag flower arrangement was gorgeous. The cut flower arrangement was super. The cookie bouquet very special. With thank you for the many remembrances. With appreciated and admiration.” In fine condition, with evidence of prior display to reverse. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope bearing the pre-printed signature free frank of Ford at upper right and presidential seal to reverse.
