Desirable handwritten letter signed "J. Honus Wagner," one page, 8.5" x 9.5", on Honus Wagner Sporting Goods Company letterhead, dated December 1, 1925. A letter written to a baseball contact, in which Wagner expresses his desire to remain apart of the game in his post-playing career. In part, "I have had all kinds of good offers to sell real estate in Florida, but what is the use of taking up something you do not like. Base ball is my game and anything connected to it is a pleasure to me." Penned entirely by Wagner in blue fountain pen ink. Some minor handling wear, otherwise fine. A fine example of Wagner's coveted scripting which showcases his ever lasting desire to be apart of the game he loves. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
