Uber-rare 1979 original black and white glossy 8” x 10” promo photo of the legendary blues band Canned Heat, signed in black ballpoint by Mike Mann (aka, Hollywood Fats), Bob Hite Jr., “Blind” Jay Astor Spell, Larry Taylor, and Adolfo "Fito" de la Parra. Known for their electrifying performance at Woodstock in 1969, this classic lineup famously reunited to play the 10th Anniversary Woodstock reunion at Parr Meadows in 1979 with Canned Heat delivering a masterful performance. This resulted in the critically acclaimed, “Canned Heat Live In Concert 1979 (Parr Meadows Long Island)”, widely considered the band’s finest live recording. Sadly, Bob Hite would succumb to his heroin addiction just two years after this performance. Fully-signed Canned Heat photos with the elusive Bob Hite are virtually non-existent. This is a stunning and well-preserved example. In fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
