Seldom seen September 15th, 1965 6" x 9" White House letter signed in bold black ink by Lyndon B. Johnson as President to former Senator Jennings Randolph. LBJ would go to thank Randolph with his work on the Highway Beautification Act (also known as Lady Bird's Bill) which passed the next day (September 16th, 1965). A pet project of the First Lady who believed that beauty, clean streets, would make the U.S. a better place to live. Overall in fine condition with the letter professionally framed & matted to an overall size of 14" x 18" with minor handling wear.
