Ultra-rare "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" signed hard cover book by Hunter S. Thompson to a young and unproven Jeremy Piven. Piven would play the lead role on the "Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas" play on Broadway prior to the script being taken up by Universal Pictures. Once the movie title was announced, Piven expected the role, but it was given to Benicio Del Toro when he instantly fell in love with the script. Signature & inscription read in full "To Jeremy Piven, I hope to have some work for you very soon. Meanwhile try to stay a float.. Ciao Hunter S. Thompsn." Dated just months prior to the release of the 1998 film in what must have been a tough time in Piven's career. It's worth noting that personal items such as this rarely surface making this offering a true one-of-a-kind gem. Overall in fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA
