This letter, dated October 5, 1898 and on Republican State Committee letterhead, reads in full: My dear Sir: I think you very much but I am sorry to say that I have not a photograph to my name. Faithfully yours". Teddy has gone on to sign his name "T. Roosevelt" in pencil. There are intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature), scattered toning, and some slight surface loss and uneven trimming to the left edge, as shown in photo. In generally fine condition. Accompanied by full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
