Dated June 1, 1937, this typewritten letter by Albert Einstein on his Princeton Institute for Advanced Study letterhead. Letter to Professor Gordon V. Allport reads, translated, in full: "A former colleague from Schweizerishen Patent Office writes to me about the archaeologist Dr. Werner Wolff, who is engaged in the decipherment of Mayan writing and is presently a refugee in Paris. Do you think that it would be possible to find this man a job ("field of activity") in the United States? I would be grateful for a friendly answer. Your, A. Einstein." In fine condition with two vertical crease and one horizontal crease. Einstein's handsigned autograph at the bottom of the letter has received the coveted grade of GEM MINT 10 from PSA/DNA. Accompanied by full Letter of Authenticity & Grading.
