Redford Agrees to Direct "A River Runs Through It" and Secures Funding for the Film!Choice document signed, "Robert Redford," one three pages, 8.5" x 11", May 1, 1991. A letter of acknowledgement sent to The Completion Bond Company, Inc. in which Redford agrees that on the same day that this document was completed, he has agreed to direct "A River Runs Through It". As a result of his involvement with the film, the company has agreed to provide funding for the film, and Redford acknowledges the basic parameters of the film (such as length of film, the screenplay, etc.). Nicely hand signed on the third and final page by Redford and in excellent condition. Filmed a few months after the execution of this document and released the following year, "A River Runs Through It" was critically acclaimed and nominated for several Academy Awards. This document provides a unique insight in the behind-the-scenes and business aspects of movie making. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
