Charles Lindbergh is regarded as the father of aviation in many circles. It was Lindbergh who flew The Spirit of St. Louis from New York to Paris at the tender age of 25, the first transatlantic flight. His signatures are regarded as highly collectible. Offered here is a Syracuse Chamber of Commerce dinner menu honoring "Chas", dated July 28, 1927 and signed by the aviator himself in bold black steel tip pen. This dinner was organized on the occasion of Lindbergh's first stop on his famous air tour of the United States following his famed flight. The signature stands out boldly with some light smudging toward the end of his last name. The remainder of the document stands in overall fine condition with some paper loss to the right hand edge, not at all hindering any of the imagery, the text, or Lindbergh's autograph. A great collectible for a fan of aviation and history! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
