Quite possibly the rarest and most desirable form of presidential document available on Old Hickory, offered here is a SCARCE 4-Language Ship's paper, 20" x 16", issued on July 15, 1936. Featuring panels in English, Dutch, French and Spanish, the document was issued to an Edward L. Ray as the master commander of the ship Rebecca Sims leaving from New Bedford for the Pacific Ocean with Provisions and Utensils for a whaling expedition. The document is boldly signed by President Jackson along with Secretary of State John Forsyth and stands in overall fine condition.
