Eric Clapton is one of the world's most celebrated guitarists who has dazzled crowds for decades with his music. In the early 1960's, Eric Clapton picked up the nickname ""Slowhand"" from the expression ""slow-hand clapping."" During his forty-plus year career he played with such great bands as the Yardbirds, Cream, and Derek and the Dominoes. His greatest fame, however, came as a solo artist, and he is considered by many—including his peers--as the greatest guitarist in rock history. Offered here is a Fender Eric Clapton "Blackie" model Stratocaster guitar, created in the same design as Clapton’s world famous guitar, boldly hand signed by the legendary performer in Sharpie ink (“9-10”) with a full name autograph and the year "'86". The guitar and signature are well preserved and in fine condition with light even toning across the pickguard. It should be noted that Clapton is a notoriously difficult autograph to acquire, and he has upheld policy of not signing guitars for several years. And of the select amount of guitars signed by Clapton, a Blackie is without question the most coveted! Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
