David Ortiz played his final regular season game on October 2nd, 2016, ending his career with an incredible 541 home runs and three World Series titles with the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox combined. Unlike most sluggers, "Big Papi" maintained tremendous output until his very last game, finishing his final season with 38 home runs and leading the American League in RBI, doubles, and slugging percentage. Ortiz wore these New Balance spikes during spring training of his final season, on March 17, 2016 (St. Patrick's Day game). The cleats are white, with green accents. The cleats show good signs of game use, with scuffing and wear evident throughout. Ortiz has signed both of the cleats, adding "2016 GU" to the left cleat. Each cleat is affixed with a hologram from MLB. The cleats also come with a Letter of Authenticity from Big Papi himself.
