Released on July 27, 1984, "Ride the Lightning" would be a a monster success for Metallica. Selling an astounding six million copies in the United States alone, the album solidified Metallica's position as the leaders in the metal movement and brought the genre out of the basements and clubs and into the mainstream culture. We're please to offer here an album pressing of "Ride The Lightning" that has been handsomely signed by all four members of Metallica along the cover in black and blue felt tip marker: Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and the late Cliff Burton. Given Burton's untimely demise in 1986, group signed albums from Metallica's original lineup are of the utmost rarities and are sure-fire investments. Some handling wear, otherwise fine. The original vinyl is included. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Steve Grad & Brian Sobrero/Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
