Valid for his time playing in Canada for Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble's "Live Alive Tour" of 1988, offered here is an official Canadian immigration document granting Tommy Shannon access to the country for six months, from 5/5/1988 to 11/5/1988. This tour was an important one for both Shannon and Vaughan, as it came shortly after they had both spent time at substance abuse treatment centers and committed to sobriety. Signed by the bass guitarist in black ballpoint pen, "Thomas L. Smedley", above his passport photo. In fine condition with minor expected handling wear to the document.
