Some baseballs are so scarce, that the rarity of their being offered to the public cannot be stressed enough. This Official American League (MacPhail) rookie-era baseball signed by "The Ironman"Cal Ripken Jr. serves as one of those exact offerings. Ripken came into the league at 21 years old in 1982, winning the coveted Rookie of the Year & in 1983 going onto his first of 19 straight All-Star games. With MacPhail's reign ending in 1983/84, Ripken Jr. signed baseballs from his era are extremely rare and seldom offered. Overall in fine condition with some toning. The stamping has faded, but it is still visible and readable. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a certificate of authenticity.
