Offered here is an 8" x 10" vintage paperstock photo featuring Metallica, signed by all four original band members - Cliff Burton, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and James Hetfield - in felt tip marker inks. The signatures are large and bold with Ulrich adding an "'85" notation, dating the autographs to very early in the band's career. Nobody could have known at the time that the would become the biggest metal band on earth. In fine condition toning across the photo and light signs of staining around the edges. There is also one minor area of paper loss to the far right, not at all affecting the image or the autographs. A 1986 "Metal Harder" magazine promo has been affixed to the bottom corner of the photo. Vintage group signed photos from Metallica are always in demand, and this is one of the nicest we have ever handled! Accompanied by a COA from AutographCOA (ACOA). AutographCOA is a newly established third-party authentication company comprised of industry-recognized authorities who specialize in the authentication of modern Hollywood, political and music autographs. Also accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from the original owner of the photo, whose father obtained the autographs personally at the Metal Hammer Festival in Germany on September 14th, 1985.
