A member of the legendary Dodger squads, then the skipper for the Miracle Mets, Hodges certainly left his mark on the game during his tenure. Despite the fame, he was a very reluctant signer, enough so that this offering is our first ever such single signed sphere by the Mets manager. This Official League sphere has been signed by Hodges, most likely as a gift, adding a rare "Merry Christmas" inscription in his hand. A rarity on their own, this inscribed example is sure to triumph most if any Hodges sphere headlined by the exceptionally bold signature! Overall in fine condition with minor scuffing. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
