In 1974, John Lennon would make his last major live performance alongside Elton John at Madison Square Garden. The two had collaborated on Elton John's cover of the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". In return, John was featured on "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" on Lennon's Walls and Bridges album. Lennon made the rare stage appearance with John and his band to keep the promise he had made that he would appear on stage with him if "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night" became a US number one single. Offered here is a rare 12" bootleg album of that performance, signed by Elton John on the cover in black felt tip marker. In fine condition with minor handling wear.
