The Los Angeles Angels were the first ever American League expansion team - the Angels' first season in franchise history and their only season at Wrigley Field. Gene Autry owned the franchise, which was created as a rival to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Offered here is a 1961 Angels team-signed Official American League (Cronin) baseball with signatures from 26 members of that inaugural season team. Signatures include Bill Rigney, Ted Kluszewski, Bob Elliott, Marv Grissom, Steve Bilko, Rocky Bridges, Eli Grba, Ken Hunt, Ron Kline, Joe Koppe, Ron Moeller, Billy Moran, Tom Morgan, Ed Sadowski, Tom Striano, George Thomas, and more. In overall fine condition, the ball exhibits toning across the surface, with fading to the signatures and stamping. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
