The crown jewel of any serious baseball collection is the Babe Ruth single-signed baseball. Offered here is a very nice example that is destined to be the new centerpiece of the lucky high bidder's collection!

 

This Union League baseball (likely signed during a Barnstorming trip) has been handsomely signed and inscribed along the side panel in fountain pen ink, "To Gary, from Babe Ruth." Unlike the majority of Ruth balls, the ink on this ball has remained dark visible. Ball exhibits some moderate handling wear, minor scuffing and typical uniform toning. Factory stampings are bold and strong!
