4.75" x .75" document clipping, boldly signed by the 15th President of the United States, James Buchanan, in a rich black quill pen ink. Nicely matted along with a vintage engraved portrait and a 3" bronze commemorative bust medallion. Housed in a black and gilt-buttoned frame display, measuring 15.25" x 12.25" overall. Some light handling wear to the vintage frame (which is approximately 50-75 years old) and some light age spotting to the matting, however the signature remains bold and vibrant. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Steve Grad & Brian Sobrero/Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
