Rated among the great third basemen of all time, Harold "Pie" Traynor became a regular with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1920 and continued playing with them for his entire career, until his retirement in 1937. He then went onto manage the team from 1934 to 1939. He is one of only a few players ever to make 200 or more hits during a season, collecting 208 in 1923. Offered here is a 4" x 6" Baseball Hall of Fame plaque postcard nicely signed by Traynor along the lower margin in blue ballpoint pen. In overall fine condition. Authenticated & encapsulated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
