Released on July 27, 1984, "Ride the Lightning" would be a a monster success for Metallica. Selling an astounding six million copies in the United States alone, the album solidified Metallica's position as the leaders in the metal movement and brought the genre out of the basements and clubs and into the mainstream culture. We're pleased to offer here a vintage album flat from "Ride The Lightning" that has been handsomely signed by all four original members of Metallica along the cover in silver & gold felt tip markers: Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and the late Cliff Burton. Given Burton's untimely demise in 1986, group signed memorabilia from Metallica's original lineup are of the utmost rarities and are sure-fire investments. The flat exhibits some creasing and handling wear, including adhesive remnants to the reverse. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
