Ed Walsh, known by many as "Big Ed", was an outstanding pitcher for the Chicago White Sox from 1904 through 1916. He won 40 games in 1908 and won two games in the 1906 World Series. He twice pitched and won two games in one day, allowing only one run in a doubleheader against Boston on September 29, 1908. Offered here is a seldom seen 3.5" x 5.5" Hall of Fame plaque card signed by Big Ed along the bottom border in vintage blue ballpoint pen - "Ed. A. Walsh". In fine condition with minor handling wear. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
