Known as one of the "Core Four" players who contributed to the Yankees' winning seasons, there is no doubt as to Jorge Posada's influence on the Yankees during his time with the team. In 2003, he became only the second Yankees catacher after Yogi Berra to hit 30 home runs in a season, and would continue being an indispensable part of the team until his retirement in 2011. The offered Louisville Slugger P320M Jorge Posada model baseball bat was used by the slugger during the 2009 season in which the Yankees would eventually win the World Series against the Phillies. Posada finished the regular season that year with a .285 batting average, 22 home runs and 81 RBIs, and would continue his run during the post season with a .276 batting average and 2 home runs. The bat shows excellent use, with stitch impressions and other various marks and indentations throughout. Posada's signature tape pattern is present on the handle. The player went onto sign the barrel in blue felt tip marker. Authenticated by MLB & Steiner Sports with their holograms affixed.
