The Bridge School Benefit was an annual charity concert held in Mountain View, CA, organized and hosted by Neil Young and held every October from 1986 to 2016. An annual Bay Area highlight, the concerts were billed online as the primary means of funding for The Bridge School. Over both days, the reserved seats alone brought in well over a million dollars every year. Over the years, the concert hosted some of the best musicians of the time on its stage. Offered here is a 15.75" x 22.25" felt poster advertising the 8th annual benefit in 1994, which had such musicians as Neil Young, Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers, Pearl Jam and the Indigo Girls as its headliners. Signers in various inks include Neil Young, Tom Petty, a young Eddie Vedder (who was just beginning to find his success with Pearl Jam), Mike McCready, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Pete Droge, Amy Ray, Emily Saliers, and more. The vintage poster exhibits scattered creasing throughout (which could easily be minimized with matting and framing) and some handling wear, with saturation to some of the signatures. Overall, though, this is a rare and desirable collection of music legends performing for an excellent cause. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
