Excellent handwritten and signed letter, one page, 4" x 5", United States Civil Service Commission letterhead, February 18th, 1890. A brief letter of response from a prior letter received, Roosevelt writes, "My dear M. Potts, All right; I will with pleasure do anything I can; if you think it wise for me to call on Ratchella [sic] about the case, I will. Very sincerely yours, Theodore Roosevelt". Handsomely signed at the conclusion in a rich black ink and in overall fine condition with one vertical and one horizontal crease. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
