October 9th, 2005 would be a wild day for The Rocket, achieving a first since his rookie year in an 18 inning saga for the Houston Astros. Roger Clemens entered in the 15th as a pinch hitter and stayed in the game to relieve Dan Wheeler on the mound. It was the first relief appearance the Rocket had made since 1984. Hurling 3 shut out innings helping complete the 18 inning saga. Offered here is a rare signed & inscribed "Roger Clemens, 18 inn, NLDS GM 4 10/9/05" game used official Major League baseball from that famed game. Overall in fine condition with great use. Authenticated by MLB & Tristar with their stickers affixed.
