Robert E. Lee secured his fame/notoriety as the commander of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia during the Civil War in 1862-65. Engaging in heated battles with Union force, he ended up bearing only three stars as a General, equivalent to his last U.S. Army rank, the only member of the first five full Generals to not tout the General's insignia. Offered here is a tremendous .85" x 2.5" cut has been signed "R. E. Lee" and framed with a photo of him in his uniform. In overall fine condition. Authenticated by Steve Grad/Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with a full Letter of Authenticity.
