Offered here is a complete block of 50 U.S. commemorative 3-cent postage stamps issued during the Truman administration in 1950 for the National Capital's Sesquicentennial. The block, measuring 9" x 10.25" and numbered 24209, is signed vertically along the right border in fountain pen by President Harry S. Truman and Postmaster General Jesse M. Donaldson. The sheet is housed in a gilt-leathered black folder bearing the seal of the Post Office Department, which was designed for each member of Truman's cabinet and other high government officials. Within the folder, the stamps are in near-mint condition and are protected by a clear plastic cover. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
