The New York Yankees' history spans more than a century, with the team pumping out some of the most legendary players of all time. Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig led the team to their first World Series Championships in 1923, 1927, 1928 and 1932. From 1936 to 1939, with Gehrig still on the team and having been joined by outfielder Joe DiMaggio, the team won the World Series every year. From 1949-53, the team won another five championships under the helm of the likes of Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, and Roger Maris, with another 9 Series appearances between 1955-1964. The team soared to the top again with Thurman Munson in the 1970s and then sank into mediocrity after 1981. In the early 1990s, two players by the name of Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera appeared on the scene, winning four out of five World Series Championships between 1996-2000. Now, with Aaron Judge taking off, we are seeing yet another dynasty appearing. Offered here is a stunning Official American League (MacPhail) baseball signed by 12 of the greatest players to ever don pinstripes. Most notably, Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris are featured with two of the most bold autographs we have ever seen from the pair sharing the sweet spot. Other signers, all in black felt tip, include Phil Rizzuto, Bill Skowron, Bobby Brown, Joe Pepitone, Eddie Lopat, Allie Reynolds, Clyde King, Charlie Silvera, Jim Turner, and Art Fowler. A warm hue of even toning surrounds the ball. Overall, one of the most exceptional Yankees multi-signed baseballs we have ever offered! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
