While never stepping foot on the hot corner in an actual Major League Baseball game, Judy Johnson still bears the ultimate achievement, being a member of the exclusive HOF club in Cooperstown. A Negro League legend, Johnson would add more to the game than just his seemingly mythological success by mentoring another great - the slugger Bob Gibson. With Johnson being elected into Cooperstown in 1975, only a mere 16 years prior to his death, it goes without saying how rare a nice single signed sphere is by the former legend. Offered here is one of those tough singles with this signed Official American League Bobby Brown baseball on the sweet spot by Johnson with his full name "William Julius Johnson".
