Jerry Garcia & The Grateful Dead have a fan-base & following that to this day would challenge even the biggest popular music stars enthusiast. Classifying themselves with pride as "Deadheads," their unquestioned leader would have to be the counterculture era singer/songwriter John "Jerry" Garcia. Despite only having four fingers, Garcia would jam with the Dead for all for their entire thirty-year career (1965–1995). Offered here is a truly rare & unique item suitable as a centerpiece for even the most enthusiastic "Deadhead" with this 8" x 6" album page that has been signed & inscribed "Live Long & Prosper, Jerry Garcia" with Garcia adding an ULTRA-RARE "Stealie/Deadhead" logo in black ballpoint. Garcia would add the famous Star Trek reference as a pun to his Doctor treating him in 1992 for his cigarette addiction. Overall in good condition. It's worth noting sketches in any format from Garcia are quite rare, but this offering serves as the first we have ever seen with a Grateful Dead logo. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity, with the autograph grading a GEM MINT 10!
