Ultra-rare appointment document dated February 3, 1985, appointing a Christopher Hicks of Texas as the Deputy Assistant to the President for Administration.The appointment measures 20" x 24" and has been hand-signed by Ronald Reagan as president in steel tip. In excellent condition with very few blemishes to speak of and a fully intact Presidential seal affixed. After Lyndon B. Johnson's presidency, it became more and more common for secretaries to sign on behalf of the President or for autopens to execute the President's signature on these appointments. This is the first we have ever offered from a president as recent as Ronald Reagan! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
