Vintage candid black and white photograph of John Lennon taken backstage during The Beatles' 1966 tour. Lennon has gone onto sign "John" in solid red ink along the bottom of his image. The signature was obtained in-person by a female fan in early 1967, during the "Sgt. Pepper" recording sessions. While 1967 was a successful year for The Beatles, signatures from this time are few and far between from any of the band members let alone notoriously tough signer John Lennon. Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear. Accompanied by full Letters of Authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo Beckett/BAS and Tracks UK.
