While Martin Luther King Jr. may be best known for his "I Have a Dream" speech, his 1964 Nobel Peace Prize speech also stands among one of the best of all-time. With King not exactly accepting the award, but questioning two main civil right issues that the prize stands behind, peace & brotherhood. "Therefore, I must ask why this prize is awarded to a movement which is beleaguered and committed to unrelenting struggle; to a movement which has not won the very peace and brotherhood which is the essence of the Nobel Prize." Challenging the public with his speech, King would end the Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech off with one of his more famous quotes; "brotherhood and peace is more precious than diamonds or silver or gold." Offered here is an incredible handwritten 2.5" x 4" album page scripting arguably one of his most famous quotes, "With Best Wishes, For Peace and Brotherhood, Martin Luther King." While handwritten items by King are incredibly scarce, such an inscription as this cannot be overlooked as content is truly "king" when it comes to hand written material. Overall in fine condition. Authenticated & encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
Martin Luther King Jr. Signed 2.5" x 3.5" Album Page w/ Rare "For Peace and Brotherhood" Inscription! (PSA/DNA)
