For the past 40+ years, Maurice Sendak's "Where The Wild Things Are" has captivated children and adults alike. Offered here is a seldom seen 4" x 6" signed sketch of the beloved character Carol by the author/illustrator himself in perfect black ballpoint. It's worth noting this is the first sketch we have handled, and the only graded 10 example of Sendak's autograph we have seen to date. Overall in excellent condition. Authenticated, encapsulated & graded perfect GEM MINT 10 by PSA/DNA.
