Easily one of the rarest & most desirable signatures in the whole hobby for musicians, Prince signatures are seldom seen in any shape or form. Known for living a life of obscurity, signatures sourced from Prince typically date from a very small window Pre-Purple Rain in the late 1970’s to early 1980’s, past that time the artist formally known as Prince has been near impossible to obtain. Very few documents have surfaced on the Academy Award winning actor, with most being insignificant in nature. This offering features possibly the finest signed document to every surface publicly from Prince Rodgers Nelson. This offering features two documents in conjuction with each other, the 8 page Employment agreement & two page document between Water Production company & Prince signs off his services for no other than the act of "The Kid" in the Academy Award winning movie "Purple Rain." Signed in bold blue ballpoint ink feature a full name autograph, "Prince Rodgers Nelson." Water Production Company would work in conjunction with Warner Brothers to produce the low budget film. While only producing one film, Water made their mark on the film scene propelling Prince into utter stardom. The two page agreement makes reference to the employment agreement which outlines all major payments/particulars drafted & executed the same day in conjunction with the two page agreement confirmed Prince's role as "The Kid." A truly historic splice of music & entertainment by one of the best performers in the 20th century. Overall in fine condition with the two pages separated. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity confirming the rare autograph of the music legend.
