1986 was a monumental year for Payne Stewart. He had a notable performance at the Masters Tournament, which would be cemented into golf history following the historic victory by Jack Nicklaus. Stewart would end up in a tie for the lead going into the 13th hole, but ultimately finished five strokes behind the Golden Bear, who won his sixth Masters title. Prior to that tournament, and every 1986 PGA event, Payne Stewart would have to show the PGA TOUR staff this ultra-rare 1986 PGA tour membership/players card allowing his access to the historic Masters tournament. This 2" x 3.25" off-white PGA Tour players card features the tour logo along with the engraved name of the owner "Payne Stewart," signed in black ballpoint with a full name autograph "Payne Stewart" above the member's signature notation. Overall in fine condition with good use & minor discoloration.
