Original 1812 Ship's Pass given for seven men to pass with no guns, made agreeable in signature by President James Madison and countersigned by Secretary of State James Monroe. The document is approximately 9.5" x 15" and has been professionally framed to an overall size of 17.5" x 29.5". Overall in good condition with the white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains fully intact with creases to a few of the points. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services.
