Stately leather rolling blotter, 5.25” x 3” x 1.75,” used by President John F. Kennedy at the White House Oval Office desk in 1962. The well-worn blotter consists of a rich brown leather with gold embossed detailing. Accompanied by a signed Letter of Provenance from Kennedy’s notable secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, on White House stationary, March 4, 1988, reading in part: “This blotter…was used by the late President John F. Kennedy at his desk in the Oval Office on November 13, 1962.” A duplicate version of this text (unsigned) is also included on yellow onion skin paper. Ex. Robert White Collection. In very good to fine condition; its well-worn nature rendering it all the more desirable. Quite the presentable Kennedy collectible, and would make for a wonderful desk display.
