Signed document, one page, Washington D.C., June 5, 1876. President Ulysses S. Grant authorizes the Secretary of State to affix the official U.S. Seal to a warrant for the pardon of Mr. Martin Castivens. The document has been beautifully hand signed by President Grant in a rich black ink and stands in overall fine condition. Tastefully matted along with an official engraving of Grant and housed in a vintage wood frame. Some moderate wear/aging to the frame itself, not affecting the signed document. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
