Offered here is one of those rare & unique DiMaggio items that are seldom seen, a 1939 Mitchell & Ness double signed & inscribed jersey by the “Yankee Clipper,” Joe DiMaggio. The first signature is seen on the right breast panel below the famous NY logo in blue felt tip “Joe DiMaggio, Yankee Clipper.” The second signature is on the reverse reads the same rare inscription, “Joe DiMaggio, Yankee Clipper.” Sourced directly from a personal driver of DiMaggio, who states that DiMaggio first signed the front, but realized the back would present better, so he signed the back. It’s also worth noting that to our knowledge this is the first ever offered doubled signed & inscribed jersey from DiMaggio!
