Roberto Clemente remains one the legends of the diamond, helping to kick start baseball in Puerto Rico and bring the Pirates back to World Series contention in the 1970’s. Due to Clemente’s distinctive erratic signature, high-grade examples are very difficult to come by. Offered here is possibly the nicest single signed photograph to hit the market! This vintage team-issued paper stock 8" x 10" photograph features an unbelievably clean and legible ballpoint pen signature that reads “With Best Wishes, Roberto Clemente.” Every single letter of the inscription and autograph can be clearly read! Some tape remnants is present on the reverse, none of which affects the photos overall very fine appearance. Accompanied by a Full letter of Authenticity & Grading from PSA/DNA.
