Excellent 8" x 10" black & white vintage image of a young Roy Campanella sporting his Dodgers uniform, signed by the late Dodger legend in black ink to his teammate, pitcher Preacher Roe. Campanella caught for Roe's pitching during Roe's time with the Dodgers from 1948-1954. Inscription reads, "Hi Preach, Best luck in everything. Sincerely, Campy". Highly likely that this was gifted to Roe as he was retiring in 1954. A beautiful example of a pre-accident signature with a personal touch.
