Here is a stunning Beastie Boys 1998 Rolling Stone magazine promotional poster signed in black felt tip pen by all three members: MCA, Ad-Rock, and Mike D. MCA had added a curly cue design above his head. The poster originates from the collection of famed disc jockey ‘Mr. Ed’ Lambert. Ranked among “The 100 Best Covers” by Rolling Stone magazine, the iconic image captures the legendary hip-hop trio playing basketball, one of their favorite past times. Weeks before the issue hit stands, the band had returned after a four-year layoff with ‘Hello Nasty’, a career-summary record that has been certified 3x Platinum in the U.S. In the Beastie Boys Book, Ad-Rock said he felt that ‘Hello Nasty’ was their "best record". One of the most elusive signers of their day, complete Beastie Boys signed items are surprisingly rare, with promotional posters being among the rarest and most sought-after items from this iconic group. The hardbacked poster measures 19 inches x 22.75 inches, and is in overall near mint condition. An absolutely stunning Beastie Boys collectible captured at the apex of their career! Accompanied by a a full Letter of Authenticity from music autograph authority Roger Epperson/REAL Authentication.
