When Abbey Road was recorded, The Beatles had fully matured both as songwriters and musicians. The Beatles were not guitar heroes like some of their contemporaries such as Eric Clapton, but the lead guitar work in the album's "The End" is as good as anything you will ever hear. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison all trade guitar licks in their own distinctive style in what sounds like a spontaneous jam. Throughout the time the Beatles were together, Harrison wrote a number of songs, but he was always in the shadow of Lennon and McCartney. With "Abbey Road," he came up with the highly praised "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun", both considered among the best songs the Beatles have ever done. Even Ringo Starr contributed a reasonable song with "Octopus's Garden". The album's cover, which features the four band members walking across a zebra crossing, has become one of the most famous and imitated images in the history of popular music. Offered here is an extremely rare 12" x 12" promotional album flat signed by George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr in blue and black felt tip markers. All of the autographs were obtained in-person over the course of nearly a decade. Harrison's signature is a rushed example due to being an extremely reluctant in-person autographs signer at the time. In overall fine condition with handling wear to the edges. This is the first multi-signed "Abbey Road" we have ever offered, a nearly complete collection of the Fab Four's autographs! Accompanied by full Letters of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS), James Spence Authentication (JSA), and noted Beatles autograph expert Frank Caiazzo.
