Boasting a full set of VINTAGE signatures pre-dating the release of their Magnum Opus
Here is a supremely rare original 1976 white label test pressing of The Eagles magnum opus ''Hotel California'' signed by all five bandmembers in various colored inks: Don Henley in dark blue ballpoint, Randy Meisner in light blue ballpoint, Glenn Frey, Don Felder and Joe Walsh in black ballpoint, with Walsh adding “Michael – Thanks from the Eagles”. These are textbook signatures of The Eagles circa 1976. An unknown hand, presumably a member of The Eagles management team, has added “7E-1084 A/B”. The disc is labeled, "Santa Maria Test Pressing" with Side A deadwax: 7E-1084 A-2 RE CSM “IS IT 6 O’CLOCK YET?”, and Side B: 7E-1084 B-4 RE CSM “V.O.L. IS FIVE PIECE LIVE”. This is a rare find, indeed, as only a small handful of these advance test pressings were signed by The Eagles primarily to disc jockeys and radio station promoters. Hotel California would eventually be released in December 1976, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time. The cover is in near mint condition and the original white label disc appears un-played.
